Founded in 2016, Primary Health Care Center De Piramide vzw serves over 6,000 patients with affordable, accessible care, focusing on both treatment and prevention.

To manage growing demand, they installed two BeWell Health Kiosks at the entrance. Patients use these kiosks to measure vital parameters and complete a lifestyle questionnaire before consultations, reducing wait time and improving consultation efficiency.

BeWell Health Kiosks at Antwerp University Hospital: Enhancing Patient Engagement and Care Efficiency

The University Hospital in Antwerp has placed over 10 BeWell Health Kiosks in key areas across ambulatory wards, used daily by hundreds of patients to measure vital parameters and complete questionnaires.

This data automatically integrates into the hospital’s EHR, keeping providers updated with patient information. The kiosks reduce manual workload for healthcare professionals, freeing time for direct patient care, while patients feel more empowered and engaged in their health decisions.

Laurentius Hospital: Advancing Patient Care through BeWell Health Kiosks

Laurentius Hospital in Roermond, Netherlands, prioritizes digital innovation to ensure quality and accessible care. With a motto of "At home if you can, in the hospital if you must," it became the first Dutch hospital to adopt the BeWell Health Kiosk.

After testing, two kiosks were installed at the main entrance, serving nearly 2,000 patients monthly. Patients measure vital parameters and complete questionnaires with data integrated into the hospital’s EHR (HIX-Chipsoft).

The kiosks save professionals time, reduce costs and streamline workflows, supporting efficient, accurate patient care and clinical trials.

"If  these kiosks were implemented on a larger scale, including outside the hospital setting, the impact at the population level could be significant.  Health issues could be detected much earlier, and preventive care would  receive a substantial boost. I always advise my patients to quit smoking,  increase physical activity and monitor their blood pressure closely. Now with the kiosks I can regularly show them the numbers they’ve measured  themselves: 'Look, your oxygen saturation is improving and your blood  pressure is coming down.' This has an immediate and motivating effect on patients."
